Bye, bye summer. It is now time to hide our
sunglasses and equip ourselves with umbrella as the Philippine Atmospheric,
Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) declared the
onset of the rainy season in the country.
Based on the press release of the state weather
agency, most of its stations located in the western part of the country observed
the occurrence of scattered to widespread rainfall which has been intensified
by the Southwest Monsoon for the past few days. Because of this, the agency
officially stated the start of rainy season.
In the advisory, it was stated that the country
will experience rainy weather in the next days. There is still monsoon break
that may still occur.
Furthermore, there are expected near to above
